In addition, one court only is booked on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from (9.30 – 11am).
From time to time there may be amendments to this schedule, because of the weather. We will try and keep members informed of any changes.
We are trialling a booking system that senior members may use if they wish to play at a particular time. Whilst the scaffolding is around the VH Committee Room, a calendar will be displayed on the notice board facing the car park and members may call at the club during club sessions to book a court. We would stress that this is not intended to replace the "turn up and play" procedure which works very well, it is just an option for those members who may want to play at a specific time.
Floodlights
Light keys (including access key for the light meters) are available from the committee members listed below. Please telephone in advance to book the key which should be collected on the way to the court and returned immediately afterwards. The keys may only be borrowed by members who must show their membership card.
Adult members may purchase a lights token (current cost £3.00) from these committee members. One token will light the court for one hour. The light control box is situated in the Village Hall lobby next to the Committee Room. Play is permitted until 10.00 pm and tokens must not be inserted into the machines after 9.00 pm. Keys may be obtained from:- Adrian Barton (276 922) and Jill Dixon (224 774).
